Pharrell is a producer, singer, and rapper who single handedly changed urban music back in the early 2000s. Born on April 5, 1974, Pharrell was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a seventh grader at band camp where he played the keyboards and drums, Pharrell would end up meeting his life long friend and producer mate Chad Hugo. Together, they would form the super producer duo called The Neptunes. After years and years of hard work, The Neptunes built a catalog that is second to none. Having done work with Justin Timberlake, Usher, and more, they are held as arguably the most successful urban producers of our generation. In addition to this, the two have earned three Grammies after being nominated ten times. Pharrell later would go on to found his own clothing brands named Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream Clothing, with the later being highly influential on the skateboarding culture. Currently, Pharrell has started up a new record label called I Am Other, replacing his old imprint Star Trak. Even more present, Pharrell currently has the number one song in the country with his single "Happy."
The man never ages... (2004-2013)
His hats seem to continue to grow in size...
(2004)
(2014)
But most importantly, his music continues to evolve...
(July 24, 2006 - 1st solo album)
(March 3, 2014 - 2nd solo album)
His visual is vivid.
